cuck zine

During my time in Boston, I've been lucky enough to spend time as an artist in the the local DIY music scene. My longest-running gig has been at Cuck, a zine and show venue. I've made a range of materials for this group.

Logo

This logo and lettermark introduced the zine's mascot, Gimpy the Cuck, who would show up in many future designs. I made Gimpy's head into a linocut stamp that was stamped on showgoers' hands for entry.

Fliers

The show fliers were made in a variety of sizes for print and digital formats.

Cuck on the Road!

I made eight fliers for the seven-stop "Cuck on the Road" tour, including one itinerary and one flier for each stop. Each location had a different color palette, text layout, and theme. As Gimpy the Cuck encounters more and more bumps in the road, his truck gets more beat up!

Covers

I made a few covers for the zine itself. They ranged from 8.5"x11" to 11"x17" spreads.

Other

I worked on other materials for events, including a a t-shirt design for the vegan hot dog eating contest (I can eat 3.5 soydogs in 10 minutes).
